Cicero Secures Another Contract with SAFC

Business-to-Business Marketing Agency wins another high-profile international account

CICERO has won the contract for a global advertising campaign for a branch of fine chemicals giant SAFC, strengthening the long-standing working relationship between the two companies.

The new campaign follows the continued expansion of SAFC which acquired UK-based chemicals company Epichem, in February 2007.

SAFC gave Cicero the task of launching the combined business offering to the marketplace. This involved an internal launch in June to ten SAFC locations across the globe, including a presentation to staff, display materials for SAFC sites and branded items for every employee. This launch was well received internally, with Cicero gaining excellent feedback.

The next stage was to re-brand and design print and online advertising, printed literature, stationery and the company stand at SEMICON West, the international exhibition for micro- and nano-electronics design and manufacturing, before July's external launch.

Cicero Account Director Rebecca Feay explains the concept behind the advertising campaign: "By projecting circuitry shapes onto different parts of people's bodies, we bring a high-tech aspect to the ancient practice of body art and, in doing so, illustrate that the future of high technology has not only arrived, but is in our make-up."

The 'Changing Face of Materials Technology' campaign will run on two consecutive pages or on animated online banners. The follow-on ads will feature an open palm, a female back, a male torso and an eye, each with projected imagery.

Melissa Jacobs, Marketing Operations Manager for SAFC comments: "Cicero's creative vision and professionalism has really inspired us and we are delighted with the campaign so far, which bodes very well for future projects. The latest creative concept is an impressive development for our brand."
